In what could be described as a royal endorsement, the traditional ruler of Igarra, a first class monarch in Nigeria, HRH….., has said that other persons have been coming to seek his blessing and that others would come but that he was praying that the PDP candidate should win the election.
“We are going to pray for you (Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu) to win the election. Other candidates have been coming and will still come but we are praying that it is you that will win the election” The Otaru said in his prayers for Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
The Royal father however enjoined the people to politic peacefully and eschew violence during the polls.
On his part, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu thanked the monarch for his continuous welcoming disposition. He assured the people of Igarra that his government will usher in justice, peace and prosperity for Akoko-Edo and particularly Igarra.
“Edo is not for sale. We will create development centres in Akoko-Edo, if we cannot create local government areas. I can assure you that within four years we shall be able to do far more than what the APC could not do in eight years.” Ize-Iyamu said at Palace of Otaru.
There was a massive rally held at the PDP Secretariat at Igarra where several APC members openly declared for the PDP.
